Radio Communications Field Support - L3Harris Technologies
CodeZone provided a skilled team of Local National Engineers (LNEs) and Field Support Representatives (FSRs) to L3Harris Technologies in Afghanistan, delivering hands-on radio installation, operator training to the Afghan National Army, and long-term maintenance of tactical communications infrastructure across multiple provinces.
The Challenge
L3Harris required trusted, technically capable local engineers who could work alongside international teams to install, configure, and maintain advanced tactical radio systems in a complex operational environment. Finding and deploying qualified Local National Engineers who could operate to international standards - and training Afghan National Army personnel on mission-critical communications equipment - demanded a partner with deep local knowledge and engineering expertise.
Our Solution
CodeZone deployed a team of trained LNEs and FSRs who embedded directly with L3Harris operations. Our engineers handled on-site installation of tactical radio systems, conducted structured technical training programmes for Afghan National Army personnel, performed scheduled and emergency maintenance across geographically dispersed sites, and provided ongoing field support to ensure system availability in demanding conditions.
“The local engineers CodeZone provided were technically excellent and deeply professional. Their ability to train ANA personnel and maintain systems in the field was critical to the success of our programme.”
