Procurement & Tender Platform - AfghanBids for DAI
CodeZone designed and built AfghanBids, a secure digital procurement platform commissioned by DAI Global, enabling government and private sector buyers to publish tenders, manage competitive bidding, and award contracts - and allowing suppliers to register, discover opportunities, and submit bids through a transparent, auditable process.
The Challenge
Procurement in Afghanistan was largely paper-based, opaque, and prone to inefficiency and error. DAI required a platform that could bring transparency and structure to the tender process - enabling buyers to reach a wider supplier base and suppliers to participate in a fair, competitive process - while meeting international procurement standards and operating reliably in a low-bandwidth environment.
Our Solution
We built AfghanBids as a full-stack web platform covering the complete procurement lifecycle: buyer and seller registration with identity verification, tender publishing with category and sector classification, secure sealed-bid submission with deadline enforcement, bid tracking and evaluation workflows, and contract award notification. The platform included a management dashboard for administrators and full audit trails for compliance reporting.
“AfghanBids gave us a transparent, auditable procurement process that we could trust. CodeZone understood the operational constraints and delivered a platform that worked reliably for our teams.”
